Maximus Jones

Maximus is in his third year of an Arts/Law degree, majoring in philosophy. It is a keen belief in the potential for commentary to initiate and inform law reform that first sparked his interest in the Law Journal. In 2013 and 2014, Maximus was on the Dean’s Lists for Arts and Social Sciences, and in 2014 he received the Douglas McCallum Prize for best performance in Philosophy.

Maximus currently works as a bartender, and as a high school English and Legal studies tutor. In his spare time, he is a guitarist and songwriter, and a general music geek. Maximus often dreams of drinking fine wine and eating fine cheese while he edits. Sadly he is still a student, and will have to settle for milk and Oreos for now.
