Alice Hancock

Alice is a 2nd year Juris Doctor student. She has a Bachelor of Science majoring in genetics, immunology and microbiology from the Australian National University in Canberra. Whilst completing her undergraduate studies she undertook an exchange semester at the University of Leeds in England, where she studied courses in epigenetics and the philosophy of science. Alice has a particular interest in bioethics.

In 2015 she was placed on the Faculty of Law Dean’s List for outstanding achievement in the course Lawyers, Ethics and Justice. Alice currently volunteers at Inner City Legal Centre and also at the Downing Centre with Victims and Witnesses of Crime Court Support (VWCCS). On weekends she works as a swimming instructor. Alice likes traveling, art, theatre, dining out and cooking.
