Amelia Loughland

Amelia is a 4th year Arts/Law student, majoring in Politics. She is the recipient of the Donald Horne prize in Politics and has been on the Dean's List for academic excellence in Arts since 2014. She has been an active member of the Law School and was the Director of Gender Equality in 2016. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of the UNSW Debating Society and represented the university at a national and international level. She also tutors debating at high school and is a Law Peer Tutor for UNSW Law. Amelia has legal experience at a boutique law firm and currently works as a Research Officer at the Judicial Commission of NSW. She has a strong interest in criminal law and hopes to practice as a prosecutor. In her spare time, she enjoys French film and reading.
