Christopher Chiam

Christopher is in his 3rd year of a Commerce/Law degree, majoring in Accounting. He was on the 2013 Australian School of Business Dean’s List and has had previous intern experience at community legal centres and in private practice.

He is a keen mooter, having been in the finals of the Ashurst Beginner’s Competition in 2013 and runner-up of the Ashurst Intermediate Competition in 2014. He also competed in the National Shine Torts Law Moot in 2014. His passion for mooting has lead to him being on the Law Society Mooting Executive for 2015 where he will be coordinating the Ashurst Intermediate Competition.

In his spare time, Christopher enjoys cricket, basketball and debating. His more obscure interests include reading Ancient Greek literature (in the original language), ten pin bowling and cooking spaghetti bolognese.
