Eden Sweeney

Eden is in her penultimate year of an Arts/Law degree, majoring in Criminology. She was named on the Dean’s List for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in 2015 and 2016.

Eden currently works as a paralegal at LegalVision and helps with a diverse variety of interesting commercial law matters. She has also volunteered for Redfern Legal Centre in their Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service at Downing Centre. It was this experience that sparked her interest in law reform, especially in the areas of domestic violence and access to justice for women and children. Eden has also worked in a variety of retail positions.

During her time at university she has competed in negotiations competitions and has enjoyed her time on the UNSW Law Journal’s Editorial Board as it has vastly expanded her legal knowledge and areas of legal interest.

In her spare time, Eden enjoys reading historical fiction and fantasy.
