James Dunn

James Dunn is in his second year of study towards a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce, majoring in International Business. He is a recipient of several scholarships, and has a particular interest in constitutional and consumer law.

Hailing from Albury-Wodonga, James is a Justice of the Peace, and works as a paralegal at a leading new model law firm. He serves as the House President of Goldstein College, a residential community on-campus, and sits on the Law Society Executive as the Director of Domestic Sponsorship. Having previously presented legal modules on public and consumer law as part of the Student Legal Education Group, he is now a Member of the NSW Young Lawyers Public Law Committee.

In his spare time, James enjoys playing the bagpipes and the oboe, having performed at the High Court of Australia. He will soon play with the Sydney Lawyers Orchestra at the International Bar Association’s Annual Conference. He is also a keen runner, and dabbles in the study of meteorology.
