James Dunn is in his third year of study towards a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce, majoring in International Business. He is a recipient of several scholarships, including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s New Colombo Plan Scholarship.
Hailing from Albury-Wodonga, James is a Justice of the Peace, and worked for almost two years within the legal profession. He was the House President of Goldstein College, a residential community on-campus, and sat on the Law Society Executive as the Director of Domestic Sponsorship. Having previously presented legal modules on public and consumer law as part of the Student Legal Education Group, he is now a Member of the NSW Young Lawyers Public Law Committee.
In his spare time, James enjoys playing the bagpipes and the oboe, having performed at the High Court of Australia and for the International Bar Association. He is also a keen runner, is working hard to improve his Mandarin language skills, and dabbles in the study of meteorology.
