Oliver Ray

Oliver is a fourth year Arts and Law student, majoring in European Studies.

He is a recipient of the Academic Achievement Award (AAA) and was on the Dean’s List for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in 2013. This is his third year on the Journal.

Oliver has a keen interest in human rights and social justice and is currently undertaking voluntary work for a human rights advocacy organisation that specialises in immigration detention.

When he’s not studying, Oliver works in a tea store. Unsurprisingly, his two great loves are books and tea, but he also enjoys cooking (and eating), playing soccer and traveling the world.

Due to his passion for travel and all things European, he will be spending a semester studying in Amsterdam.
